What’s Padel?

For those that aren’t familiar, here’s a hot take on Padel (pronounced like paddle or like puh-dell, either is fine it seems).

Padel or “Padel Tennis” is the fastest growing racket sport in the world.

It’s a hybrid between tennis and squash (AKA racquetball) where the play is fast but enjoyable by players of any age or skill level.

Popular around the world, it’s just begun taking baby steps as a growing sport in the United States.

First Serve: padel franchise primed to explode

P1 Padel is going to be a big name in US Padel (along with Padel Haus). They seem to be setting their sights on growth.

Brewing up a new club in Milwuakee

New padel clubs popping up all the time. Typically they’re in major coastal cities or in the South. But seeing growth in the upper Midwest is great news.

KC gets a new PC (padel club)

Our take: this Kansas City club looks like a blast, and in the Overland Park area, it’s going to be a smash.

They came. They saw. They…conquered?

Conquer Padel has insanely ambitious goals if they’re going to hit 50 clubs in less than 2 years. We’ll keep an eye on their progress.

Burning (padel) Man?

Padel probably isn’t the first thing I think of when I think about Burning Man, but hey- if it gets more attention to the sport, let’s burn! We’ll keep an eye on Patty’s progress.
