Primetime Padel: July 12 Edition
Your weekly round of Padel news in the US in less than 2 minutes.

Padel: If racquetball and tennis had a younger, better-looking cousin with a cool accent. And they all rolled their eyes when pickleball walked in.
What the deal? Why is Padel so sticky?
Padel, that sneaky lovechild of tennis and squash born in Mexico back in '69, is exploding in the US like a well-placed lob—jumping from a measly 20 courts in 2019 to 454 by 2023, all thanks to its wall-bouncing fun and social vibe that has players chatting more than sweating. While Spain hoards the spotlight, America's curiosity is spiking third worldwide, hinting at Olympic dreams by 2032 if the federation rallies enough nations, proving even tennis might soon be walled off from the cool kids' club.
Mesa, AZ about to make some new friends
Padel Pals coming to Mesa, Arizona this fall. The cool angle on this club? It’s not only BIG but also includes fun zones to keep the kids entertained while you play your game. Then grab a meal at the cafe!
Padel Haus Hits Huge (round of funding)
Padel Haus is one of the giants in the Padel club space in the US, and just secured $7 million in their series B offering. What does this mean? Investors are seeing green when they look at the Padel investment opportunity, and we’re going to see their clubs popping up in even more cities across the US in the next couple years. GREAT news for the padel community.
The Incredible Padel-man
One of the biggest padel brand ambassadors on the planet is your friendly neighborhood spider: Tom Holland. This past week he was putting on quite the padel show in the UK with major celebs stopping by to make an appearance at the BERO Padel Classic. Huge win for the sport.
There’s more, but we promised to keep it short and sweet. Come back next week to get your weekly dose of padel news.
