Check out the explosive growth of padel around the world. That’s roughly 2 MILLION new players per year since 2018. At this rate, you’re looking at 32 million in 2025 and a whopping 42 million by 2030. By comparison, there are about 20 million pickleball players in the US.

Denver is getting its FIRST padel club. Cloud9 park looks like a great way to have fun, a mile above sea level. If you’re in the Colorado area, get your games in now before it, you know, snows.

Padel + Universities = good idea

Campus Rec makes the case for universities to add padel to their campuses. We think it’s a good idea (no bias) as they compete with each other and the “why do I need college” movements. Will we see a bunch of colleges start to make room for the fastest growing sport in the world on their campus?

The Miami Padel Club, powered by Agustín Tapia and Eduardo Alonso, snagged the Men’s Division crown at the Pro Padel League 2025 in Miami, outlasting Cancun Waves’ Alex Ruiz and Franco Dal Bianco in a thrilling final showdown! On the women’s side, New York Atlantics’ Ariana Sánchez and Andrea Ustero clinched the title, toppling Flowrida Goats’ Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea at Wayfair Arena. Get ready for more paddle-smashing action as the league heads to San Sebastián, Spain, July 10-13!
